Book Week 2019!

Hey guys!

This week is Book week!

Today was the dressing up day. I was Winnie the Witch!

I didn't have the entire costume though I borrowed some from the staff room from our school!

I even made a backstory cause I didn't look like Winnie.

Here is the backstory.

I was once the most loyal wizards in Hogwarts but then some evil rascal put a speel on me and I got expelled for no reason, so I tried to become a fortune teller, kinda works sometimes not. But I'm still a wizard and know many differant spells.

Sick Sentence
The woman pulled the world along a road. There was a city ahead. The sky was cloudy.

Healed Sentence
 Sincerely, the woman dragged the wild world along the curious road. There was a gloomy  city which was filled with sacred people the city was called "The Sacred City" . The sky was filled with unsual fog.

Show, Don't Tell!

Hi! Today me and my class were learning about "WRITTING" It was Show not tell. Here are some of mine.

Telling- (Gina is in love).
She was bright pink and had heart pupils on her eyes she was obsessed with tomatoes!

Telling- Pirana was furious!
Showing-  Pirana's skin was like burning fire she was raging so much she tuned in to a ragging bull!

Telling- Cade was sad.
Showing- Cade had tears rolling down his face his mind has shut down, he was basically done.

The man slowly walked up the slope. He used really old looking poles it was uncomfortable to hold. The sun was shining as bright as it can. The sky was the colour of light blue bells. He was excited to get to the top he wanted to accomplish his dreams of mountains! He was looking forward to gaze up in the view on top of Mount Everest!

(First Person) (Edmund Hillary)

Glancing up in the sky, looking at the beautiful creations on earth. I thought to myself "This is the moment of my life! It's time I become.. The FIRST person to climb this DEADLY Mountain". As I put on the oxygen tank some of my teammates are already crying and quiting! "Hey! Don't cry! this is the moment of life, the greatest test in your life! C'mon and join me if you like!" I shout happily. As I put one foot on the ground my good pal Tenzing, Did the same.. He looked at me "Let's do this buddy!" said Tenzing.

(Third Person)

We climbed and climbed and climbed, Then we reached up to a point that we were really scared of already. "Hey" calmly said Tenzing, "Lets have a break, I brought some food!" 

"Sure, Im STaRVinG" I said while goofing around. We munched the yummy food and went back to climbing. 

(First Person) (Tenzing Norgay)

WE only climbed thats really it, It was very boring, Until we reached to a terrifying point where much people can't survive in. We saw lot's of gear in this point and a teeny bit of blood on the snow. It was really windy and FREEZING.

Me and Tenzing were so close to top of Mount Everest we were breathing really hard.
We found out that we had to cross an ice flow to get to the top of this horrifying mountain.
I went first and passed! The rest of the team called part if the ice flow 'Edmund's Terror' I was PROUD. I saw Tenzing having a bit of trouble so I helped him out I can't belive I saved his life!
He thanked me and carried on climbing.

We climbed that really it.
Untillllllll....... WE REACHED THE END POINT OF MOUNT EVEREST!!!
We took loads of snap shots on our phone! WE put on the flag and VOILA! WE did it #TeamWork! But... We had to climb down again :( I was so annoyed.
(Second Person)
We saw them climbing down Mount Everest, we were so proud. Queen Elizabeth ll came in and waited for them to come back to thier shelter.
When They reached the shelter Queen Elizabeth ll. " My queen, What are you doing here? questioned Edmund. " You are about to be knighted Sir Edmund Hillary, You shall be knighted!" Shouts The queen. " And you Tenzing you shall get a medal since the primisister of India will not allow to be knighted.

Fim Fesitival!

Hi! Today we went to the "New Zealand International Film Festival!"

My favourite film was the workout one!

It was really funny! But I don't understand how rubbing a towel beneath you is exercising?

When we walked in the Civic Theatre it was filled with GOLDEN STATUES!

It was really fancy! I wonder how the toilet looks like? Is it gold?

We wnet inside the theatre room and it was filled with dazziling Red seats!

My seat was number 48. 

It was so cool! And I realy like the film "Sloth"

Choose Tuesday

Hi Everyone!

Yesterday we had choose tuesday!

My choose Tuesday option was Kartate!

Our Sensei was Toki!

The session was GREAT!

WE learned some basics and we had a game in the end!

My goal is to remember the japaneese words!

It was really fun!

It was about self defence and we are not allowed to showoff with these skills or use thme in a fight.
