Green Week Writting Day 1

I was eating some fresh hot fish cheetos when this horrible creature came in and took the last piece. I spent 15 yiniyinyins (Dollars) on this these hot fish cheetos. I need to get revenge... Ha! I will eat him. I swallowed him. I felt him punching my stomach. Oh no, dad is going to get mad.. Uh.. Eh, WHATEVER I say as I roll my eyes. I went home and see my dad waiting for me in my room.. OH NO! DID HE FIND OUT??? DID SOMEONE SEE ME AND TELL HIM?? OR WAS HE STALKING ME??!!!! "My dear weird son, I have something managed for you, I booked you an xray appointment because I think your not feeling well and your stomach is kind of moving a lot" He says formally. " Uhhuh.. DAD it's ok ok ok ok Im ok ok ok ok ok." I shout. " Your even acting weird too!" he says. " I slowly walk back and.. RUN! " Im ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok" I said as I ran.

The Great Drain Game

Hey Guys! It's Rowena (RowRow). Today we went to The Drain Game. We learned about the sea and water and where it goes. We had three activities that we did.

Number 1. VR/ Wetlands talk, We but on headphones and a VR on us and looked around us. We saw land animals and sea animals! We had a wetlands talk, we talked about what is a wetland and what it has. What I learnt was what animals is in the closet part of the ocean. They showed how people filter the dirty water. They had the soil on a big plasitc bottle and and grass then added the dirty water in it and it was coming through the grass and it was it was a bit cleaner.

Number 2. Caravan activitiy, We went to the caravan and looked around, we had to get a bottle and look at the tag for example rain water, where does rain water go? The answer is a "drain" We put the bottle beside the fake drain and use the water spray thing and spray it in the fake drain and the "rain water" would go in the ocean. If you got the fake urine/ wee you would have to put it beside the toilet seat and use water spray again and it would go in the fake water waste treatment plant. That is what we did, what we learnt was which thing go into.

Number 3. Location of drains in our school, We had to pair up or go in a group of three and use a school map and find drains and mark it on the map. That is what we did, what I learnt was there is differant kind of drains some ar for toilet water and rain water and swimming water and other things.

My Own Survey

Hi people!

A few days days ago, I did a survey. What is Owairaka School Members soft drinks??????
Anyways here is the survey.

When I did the survey it felt very very very tiring. My predction is, I think People is gonna choose coke because it's really popular and a lot of people like the drink. Basically the data show's what people likes and how popular the thing is, the most popular right now in my survey is "Coke".  Basically I used my maths book and drew a survey template and wrote down the soft drinks, then I asked people " What do you like? No soft drinks?, Coke?, Sprite?, Fanta?, L&P?, 7 Up?, Or Pepsi?". Most people said Coke. Anyways! What is your favourite soft drink?

Hi people!

This blog is about my week 3 term 4 writting!

Here it is.

I was down the street, my face brightened when my eyes looked up. “Finally! I might be able to win the contest!” I hold up my skirt and peacefully walked up the stairs. The red carpet was red as blood and the lights were as bright as the sun. As I walk into the room, the first thing I saw was bright lights with people dancing and dancing. Happy faces started to shine! When the contest was about to start.. A huge lightning struck down the ceiling. “Evacuate! Evacuate! EVACUATE!” repeated the mayor. It was a bad idea. Water began to puddle at everyone’s feet.The water dripping down was getting heavier every second. People ran down. Suddenly, the water level started to rise. “ What is going on?!” screamed the mayor’s fiancée. People started to drown and scream. “Looks like I’m the only one who can swim” I say. Suddenly I see someone struggling to swim. “ Claire!” I shout. I swam closer. “ Valarie, don’t.” She says. “ WHY?!” I shout. “ No, just don’t” she says. “ Why.. Why are doing this, you might die” I shout. “ You’re the only one who can do this” Then she hands me an umbrella. “Use this for the only good” she says. “ Huh? What does that mean?”

I miraculously teleported somewhere dark. It felt weird. I had a weird tingly feeling. Suddenly I heard whispers running through darkness. “Ugh, I’m probably imagining things” Instantly the whispers have evolved. The Whispers became.. Normal Talks. “Oh no I’m gonna die, Im gonna die!” One of the voices. “Oh yes, POWER I FEEL THE POWER” shouted one of the voices. “ You’re a wizard Valarie” whispered one of the voices. “Huh? Isn’t that from Harry Potter? But not the Valarie part. I immediately realized that the voices were coming from somewhere. I listened and followed the trail of voices in the pitch dark night. After hours of listening, I found this mysterious house. The voices vanished. But there was only one that was still talking. “ I believe in you, Valerie” and started to fade away. I walked up the creaking stairs, and knocked on the door one time, twice, thrice. No one was answering. Suddenly The door opened.  

Water was rushing down the floor! The water was rising. Soon, everything would be underwater. I swam up and tried to breathe. I can’t breathe! After a minute I checked my heart beat, my heart wasn’t breathing! I was still alive! I raised upon the water and jumped to a tree. The water level wasn’t rising. “Yes! I can finally get out of here! But I couldn't move. “It looks like I have to fetch something?”. My umbrella was glowing. I looked down. Something green was glowing. I fetched the green thing. It was and emerald! Suddenly, the umbrella opened up a box. It looked like the emerald was missing! When I put the emerald inside the box, I blacked out. I ended up back at the party and found myself dancing. Now for the costume contestants. There is only one winner which is… Drumroll please….. Valarie Halls! I cheered for myself! I had been working on my outfit for a long time! I made it!
